Every BiteSpeed tier on the international pricing page is gated behind a demo flow. Third-party teardowns peg the platform at $250–$500/mo, with AI add-ons at $100/mo each. You can't model your year without a sales call.

Wallet auto-debits, one-day disputes.

Per their terms, BiteSpeed is authorized to deduct fees from the wallet without further consent, with a one-day invoice-dispute window. Wallet refund requests are not accepted once amounts are deducted. Several reviewers cite charges they couldn't reverse.

Onboarding strong, post-launch quiet.

Shopify reviewer The Pet Project: "radio silence and constant follow-ups." Ristoss: the team "falls thru the cracks" after payment. Solacely: support drops after the trial.

WhatsApp number control risk.

The Alocasia Company (April 2026) alleged BiteSpeed tried to "hijack your WhatsApp number" and ignored removal requests. Cellwala.pk said their WhatsApp Business Account ended up restricted after partner access was granted.

Can I keep BiteSpeed and add Spur for the channels they're weaker on?

In theory yes — both platforms handle WhatsApp Business API and can coexist on different channels. In practice, running both is a lot of integration overhead and you'd be paying two platform fees plus duplicate WhatsApp wallet management. The more common pattern we see: customers migrate fully off BiteSpeed for the conversational support layer (WhatsApp + IG + FB + email helpdesk + web chat) and keep campaign email/SMS in Klaviyo, Omnisend or Postscript separately.
